Yes. Quality extra virgin olive oil has a smoke point above ~200°C and safely covers all everyday cooking. Details in the Learn section.

Natural in unfiltered oils. The sediment is olive particles and is harmless; it even carries aroma. If it bothers you, keep the bottle upright and pour from the top.
